My Story

I’m a Senior Designer at IDEO.org in the visual design space.

Previously, the Chief Creative Officer at UMI (the largest independently-owned and -operated African American media and publishing company), based in Chicago. Before that, I was the Art Director at the nonprofit Pure Hope and a leader in the digital design team at H. Creative Group.

My work focuses on empathy, diversity and inclusion, accessibility, and beautiful craft. My goal with any project is to provide great value to customers and stakeholders by using design thinking methodologies and philosophies.
