Overview
Future of Us is a national civic imagination initiative anchored by a 10-day festival in San Francisco, launching on the country's 250th anniversary in July 2026. Its premise is hopeful: instead of arguing about the future, surface the futures communities actually want. I created a series of speculative portraits. Each one centers a specific person, rendered with warmth, then surrounds them with a constellation of symbolic objects drawn from their hopes: mending and repair, cycles and rhythm, memory and time, imagination and growth.
